Default Engine stalls

Evening all!! A few weeks ago during some real hot weather, the 1982 Started to just quietly quit then you could re-start and continue. At first I thought it might be bad gas but It only seems to do it when it is 95+ degrees outside. I have heard it might be a sensor. Any thoughts? :cry
