I have had a whistling sound coming from my carb through the primary bowls. I was checking it out and noticed some fuel leaking at the gasket between the base and body. 6 of the 8 screws were loose and two are missing in the middle. I don't think they were installed on the performance modifications I had done.
Can anyone tell me what size these 2 phillip head screws are. (Thread count)
1 inch total length 3/4 of it being threads. Not a 6mm to sloppy and not a 1/4.
Can anyone help, thanks again......

Neil, I took a look at one of my spare carbs and it appears to be a #12-24 thread. The #12-24 is the same thread that is used on the batt terminal of alternators. Good luck finding one of those. Call a carb shop and see if they have any that they can give or sell you. I can guarantee that you will not find those in any hardware store.
