I have changed my Rochester to a 600 Holley, and there are proberly a lot of you guyes, that have done the same thing - WHAT have you done with the throttle cable??
That was my thought aswell, but as you can see the cable is to long, and it looks like the distance from zero to full throttle is bigger on the holley..

If I move the cable back so it can hook up, the cable gets a nasty turn before it goes inside the car
I just finished this job with the Lokar 2 ft aftermarket cable. Here's a shot the setup at the carb. The lower cable is for the TV control on the OD tranny...
The hardest part of the job is re-installing the pedal. You can see the two lower bolts here, but the top bolt is the nasty one. You can reach it, but its the challenging part. The whole job probably took about 2 hours.
