Keisler confusion about U-joint cap!
There is no way Classic Chevy's yoke supplier could have received a mismatched yoke
... but I'm sure if they had it would just be accepted as a fluke
Say what you may, but this yoke cap / strap problem has only appeared once in several thousand kits and Keisler did not even build the dang thing (yoke)!
Mistakes are going to be made in any business no matter how big or small you are even if you do everything in house. What makes the one business a stand out in my mind is when they are willing to pony up in a public forum and discuss their product/service/business and answer to the masses.
It takes a lot of ***** to be active in a place as this just for a regular Joe, but it takes a lot more ***** to be active in a place as this if your running a business.
Just my two cents...

WTH ? What's this rant all about?
If I was a moderator here I would send you to camp for about two weeks busting rocks.

It's just an odd way of doing things. If I had problems with my new Dell PC, I would not go the PC Lovers forum and lay out the problem there hoping that the Dell tech rep would find it and contact me, but, hey, I guess that's just me.
I do understand a fellow getting on the forum when he is trying to sort something out on a Sunday afternoon when our tech line is closed.
2)When WE make a mistake (even a tiny one) we get absolutely dog-piled here, but the jumping on us about Gkulls strap yoke which was built and packaged by another company is just not fair or even relevant. We've sold 1000's of these yokes and never encountered a mismatched cap, so there was no reason to individually inspect them.
We're obviously not perfect, but least only attack us about things that are our fault.
3) A brief note about CC5S - they received a slap on the wrist from the moderators for having folks on this forum just to stir up trouble for Keisler Engineering, and some of their posts were just too blatant to ignore. They even a had one of their key employees posting on the Corvette Forum who flat out denied be associated with their business while at the same time having his CC5S contact information in his signature on another forum
