Tachometer Troubles
hey,
I have a 76 vette that has a tach that didnt work at all. I replaced the circuit board and now it reads irratically like when the engine is idling it reads 3500. when the key is on but the motor is not running the needle goes to 3000. I did search the forum... Any other pointers?

This article on corvettefaq talks about re-zeroing the needle when installing a new tach board. I used this info when I replaced mine.
