Oil Pan leaks
I put in a new chrome oil pan (not sure of the brand) with the thick, one-piece fel-pro gasket (the blue one). The gasket instructions said not to use any sealant during installation.
The one bolt that I cannot get to stop leaking is the one directly opposite the back of the dipstick hole.
I have tried both tighening and loosening the bolts while running to look for the point that the gasket is level. Right now, I am waiting for some RTV to dry on the bolt.
Any other suggestions? If this doesn't work, I guess I am going to have to try pulling the pan and sealing the gasket to the pan before reinstallation.
