The name Sting Ray (two words) was used for the mid-years, 63-67, and those cars were badged with a Sting Ray emblem. In 68 the car did not have a Sting Ray or Stingray badge but ads and literature referred to it as a Sting Ray (2 words). The name Stingray (one word) was used from 69 till 76.
