Let us know, if that guy sticks with it, I was going to do an ebay engine but ended up staying local, he is actually giving me a better price on rebuilding my transmission & engine both together then any engine alone I could find on ebay. Also he has been in the racing business for 20 to 30 years so I know he is reputiable.
My buddy is thinking of doing an ebay engine so I am curious as to what he can expect so I can let him know.
Paintmann Your buddy probably knows this , for safety
you need 039 040 clearance from the top of the piston to the
head on an engine with steel rods. they make thicker
gaskets but that would start dropping your compression.
