79 auto dual bracket

. Unless someone put a 400 trans in your 79 that one won't work. It will interfere with the 350 trans on the drivers side. There are 3 different brackets, the one you have for the 400, one for a 4speed, and, probably because dual exhaust was never offered on a Corvette with a 350 from the factory, a kinda homemade looking one. Checkout Mid America pt. no. 618-957. Looks like an original single hanger welded to a cut in half 4speed hanger. Only place I've seen it offered.
There have been a couple threads on this in the last couple months. Check em out so you can see the problems others have had.
