Default Holley Head package

I am going to get one of these setups for my vette.

Has anyone else run these and what kind of power levels can I expect from this setup? Like 350? Also what would be a good electric fan to run?

Or maybe something like this.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
But it has no intake and will not accept a center bolt intake. Which brand is not centerbolt?

I remember one member having the holley systemax. He really liked it and often wondered why more people didn't use it. You could pm msvetteman, he would know the guys name.

Yup, I was looking around and the Holley one says that you wil get 425 hp. I think that may be a little much for my lower end. What do you guys think?

The trick flows have a superior head package and very mild cam. The Holley unit has a cam and setup very near the Edelbrock performer rpm kit.

The higher HP unit will help you find the weak spots if you have any!

That would be "grayhook" He had posted videos of his car before/after the Systemax install. The "after" video sold me on it

Hello! I just finshed installing the Trick Flow Head package. The kit was a great bargain and very high quality. It even came with roller rockers!I installed this kit on a stock 1980 L82.When the kit came I noticed that the heads that they shipped are not the cnc heads from Trick Flow,so I whined to Summit and the exchanged them with the cnc heads for $150 more! The cam is a bit mild but the idle is smooth and has good vacum.Mid range is explosive!!!I did not go with the Holley kit because they want a Zeored decked block and the cam looked a little to hot.

If I run the trickflow setup will a Edelbrock performer intake work with it? Also will my holly 700 carb have enough flow to feed that horsepower. As for the Holley setup what carb would I have to run, like an 800 cfm or something? About what is my tranny good for hp wise? A mechanic once told me 400. Does this seem right.?

I've got the Holley setup on my '69 Camaro. 300 to the wheels through a th350 and 12 bolt. I've been really happy with it and it is definitely a bargain. I shot a couple of small video clips for another forum member and if your interested I'll send them your way.
