Default Help!!

This might sound dumb, But im having trouble on my heater core.
I keep reading differnt ways in my manual, maybe im reading it wrong. One says go from the inside of the engine bay, other says go from the interioer and take the whole dash apart........

Can someone help me with some directions and pics maybe on getting my heater core out.....
My heater core has stunned my progress on my interior. Instead of glueing my new carpets in im setting my driver side and rear peice and other peices and having a towel to soak up the fluid in my passanger side.

Someone help me with this one....

If you do not have AC, go from the engine bay. Just remove the heater box and replace the heater core. This is what I did on my non-AC car. I don't believe it is that easy for AC cars. Someone else will have to verify this.

Unless you want to drive the car in the winter just bypass the heater core. it serves no practical purpose except heat up the interior.

for AC cars, you have to get at it from the inside. if your interior is out then it sounds like a good time to do it.

mine is bypassed at the moment. heat isn't all that critical down here in Florida. i plan to fix mine anyway though when i do the AC repair.

While everything is out pressure check the acuators. Be sure to order the new duct seals ahead of time. It's one of the longest/annoying jobs I've done to date and that was with the engine out which was a snap at the time compared to the $%^&* heater core.....good luck

BTW: Hi Paul67, I reviewed the site you posted on the A/C removal, boy they made it look easy compared to the actual stuff you have to do...
