Drill the rivets out. Start with a small drill bit and progressively use a larger one until you can knock the rivet head off.

On my 75 I just ground the heads off the rivets and knocked them out with a punch. :smash: When I purchased my new rotors I also purchased a rivet set with them. I have been told you can get rotors that you don't need to rivet on but I'm not sure if thats a true statement or not.

I put the rivet through the hub and the rotor then set one end of the rivet on a piece of steel round stalk and hammered the other end flat. If you have access to riveter or a press it would be a heck of a lot less work, believe me!The way I did it takes a lot of :smash:

You don't need to re-rivet the rotors to the hub, unless you're after that NCRS look. The hub & rotor were originally rivetted to ease assembly at the plant.

The rivets do not need to be replaced. Also, if your current rotors are not to bad they can be turned on the car. I had this done at our local Western Auto for about $75.00.
