1981 to MSD Street Fire
Anyone have any idea how this is supposed to be wired up?...the original has connections running inside the distributor, 3 keys and a wire that is screwed down. The MSD has no provision inside for this, only a key for a hot wire on the outside and a tach connection key...Help!

MSD has a wiring harness available for the HEI unit I worked with. It will make your conections easy and clean. If there is no harness for your setup, check out msd's web site for install info. You will see exactly how to wire it up. I used a harness on a HEI unit off a 87 vette. It should be very similar to your 81. Normally I just use their Dist with their boxes.
