Default Help with wheel spacers

I mounted my torque thrust IIs today and took the car for a ride. Stupidly, I didn't check the caliper clearance since the salesman told me they would be a direct bolt on . I noticed parts of the spokes on the rear wheel were getting shaved by the caliper. I ordered a 7/32 in. spacer from Summitt since this was the smallest spacer they had. Is using a spacer this size going to put too much stress on the threads? I could not find anything smaller.I appreciate any feedback.

Nope you'll be ok, just check your wheel nuts every 1000 miles or so.

1000 miles sounds fine. I guess a 7/32" won't take up too much thread I hope.

Is it a bad idea to drag race with spacers?
