Look for my post about new seats. Ive had back surgery..this stuff really does put a beating on me
I have a speedo rebuild in my future. If I remove the seats and lower the steering column how long should the in and out take. What gave you the biggest problem?

I removed the seat... I honestly think that this step was totally unnecessary...
If I had to do it again I would guess about 5-6 hours
The biggest problem was removing the dash pad.. and clearance is very tight EVERYWHERE!
You just cant get your hands back there
Plugging all the bulbs in is a cramp too
My hands and forearms look like ive been hit with 20 gauge Birdshot while wading through pricker bushes
Like everybody says, once you do it once or twice it gets easier...
I have had the center console out and passenger sections out and changed bulbs in the speedo tach. Yes I got "dash rash" also. I did not think you had to remove the dash pad though for the speedo/tach cluster. I have yet to tackle that though. Whats the obstacle? Doesn't the cluster just pull down and out?

The obstacle is SPACE!
The speedo while bolted to the bezel is very deep
You need all the room you can get to get the upper bolts out
I guess you could do it without removing the dash pad
Like I said, It was my first time and I was winging it
