I got my brackets back from the powder coater today. I need to install but have to remove the fan and a brace under the AC compressor to get the right bracket installed. Here is a pic of the finished product.
After I get it installed I will post pics of it as well.

The shock towers flex inward allowing changes in suspension geometry. The brace keeps the towers and frame stiffer making the car handle better and more predictable. Plus, I just wanted to make one and install it! I hope I never run out of things I want to do to my car to make it fun to drive, more reliable and safer!

You did a nice professional looking job Bernie. Even if you never push the car so hard that you need it it is like having CAA. For piece of mind.
Very nice job.
I appreciate all the compliments from men who are far better than me at doing these modifications. Your expertise has made me a better mech. I appreciate being included in this great group of gear heads!

Looks great Now if you could refresh my memory as to why I need one.....
Also prevents the frame cracks that are fairly common. I made mine last fall. With a BB, it did force a change to electic fans, which is a good thing with A/C...
Here are a few pics of the bar installed. The fan is removed to make installation possible but I will install it. I designed this to be used with or without the stock fan.
I really didn't expect to feel much difference after installing the shock tower brace but there is a big difference! I could feel the front suspension working better now. There must be quite a bit of flex in the frame because I could feel the road where I couldn't before. I get a tighter feel in the suspension and can tell the suspension is reacting quicker now. I'm really impressed with the difference in the feel of the car now!
