I just received both sets of side view mirrors for a 75' from Wilcox and it didn't have any hardware to attach the screws they provided, to the door. It came with the mirror, rubber gasket, metal mounting plate, one screw to attach mirror to bracket, and 2 screws to attach to door. I remember seeing a post several months ago that talked about "Well-nuts", or "Rubber Nuts" does anyone have a diagram or know where I can purchase some in Canada?
I copied and pasted your quote, minus the quotations of course and checked for reference to Mirrors.......No luck. As for Mid America and Ecklers, I was hoping to do it during the next week, and shipping to Canada would cost more then the nuts.
I got two well nuts when I bought my rh mirror from Ecklers but one would not seat properly. Living in Australia I thought here's extra cost getting one lousy nut shipped from the States. Went into a local harware shop and found the same thing made by Ramset. This appears to be better quality.
Hey Frank, they sell them at Home Depot in the fastener aisle.
I called one of the Home Depot stores and they weren't sure what I was talking about so they asked that I come by and ask one of the associates. Well I went and showed several pictures and they had no clue as to what I wanted. They tried for substitutes but it didn't even come close. Needless to say 2 Home Depot's and 2 1/2 hours later, nothing. They need to find experienced people to work at these stores.
