Cam Question
Have a 73 corvette 350 has 8.5 to1 pistons would like to put a comp cam in for better take off has .24 lift onintake&exhaust got 600 holly carb&ellenbrock highrise intake headers and sidepipes. What size cam can I put in and still run on the 95 octine gas and make my engine sound and act tuff.

268H Comp is an oldie but a goodie for that but might be a little tame. Should will get the job done.
Generaly with low compression it is difficult to put a big cam in there. If you want a lumpy idle and a higer narow torque curve you want to look for tighter lobe centers.
