Default Exhaust for a 78'

The exhaust of my 78' is sagging bad near the rear axle. I found a good shop that I trust to do the job but I cant decide between Flowmaster and Magnaflow. What is best, and are there any tricks to increase my ground clearance and make it look good?

Just my opinion, but I like the sound of the Flowmaster better. They are both good quality, but I like the deeper sound of the Flowmaster. It seems better for muscle cars than Magnaflow. As for ground clearance, I wouldn't have them follow any path other than the way it was designed. If they get too creative and run pipe too close to something there could be issues down the road. Noise, heat, etc...Just my .02 Either way you go with muffler, you'll be soooooo happy. Enjoy!

Of course factory pipes were squeezed where they roll under the differential to increase ground clearance so if your guys are good, I would suggest they did likewise otherwise it will look like they are hanging. Shields were used to direct heat away from the differential, body. You may wish to check and use shields if they are missing which permits greater gound clearance as well.
