Default Quadrajet Fitting

I'm in the process of installing braided fuel lines on my '79 while I'm doing my big block conversion. My plan is to run the Quadrajet that came on my '79, which works flawlessly, especially since Lars worked his magic on it.

To complete the fuel system, my problem is I need to find a part number for the fitting at will adapt my 8AN fitting to my 1979 Quadrajet. I already bought the 7/8-20 fitting only to find out that it doesn't fit. But now I cannot seem to find the correct one! Help please!

My lines and fittings I've used are all from Russell's

I have one on mine, ran 8an russel line with the russel fittings and then an adapter in the q-jet from the russel fitting. I'll find out what brand and part number it is and post back later.

Yes, one does exist, I have one too. If Jeckel doesn't find his number I might be able to later tonight. Be prepared to ditch the filter inside the carb if you have the long one, it won't fit with this new adaper that must be used. I ended up having to put an inline filter in. By the time I was done with my stupid fuel line I could have bought a top of the line tire for the same $$. I think Summit might have the fitting.

It's Russell part number 640350. This has the 1"-20 threads for the carb and a -8 AN inlet. Unfortunately, a -6 inlet is not available.
