difference in wheel bearing brands??

difference in wheel bearing brands??
getting ready to do a full suspension rebuild on my '73, and wondered if there are better bearings for these cars than others..?

Timkin. Everything else is an imitation. You should be able to buy them at the local napa or farm supply. Don't pay catalog prices.

Yep, but you have to watch them even. Look for made in US or Canada. Might also try BCA from CarQuest and others. Whatever you get, stay away from made in China bearings.

Somehow I don't think Timken is going to sell sub-standard bearings, no matter where they come from. My set of Timkens for the front wheels are all marked "made in Poland."

Timken. They improve the steel regularly (every 8-10 years they are noticably improved) so don't settle for bearings that have been sitting on a shelf for years.
