Tachometer filter test question
while working on the car today i plugged the filter back in and hooked
my tach/dwell meter to it and got nothing, i then pulled the filter from the distributor and hooked the tach/dwell meter directly to the distributor and it worked.
am i correct in assuming that the filter is shot?

Sound's like it could be. I'll toss in a breadboard version of a tach filter you can use when I return the tach board. As long as you don't need "stock looking", this will work fine.
