Waiting 5 weeks so far for my carpet order from Romeo's.
Just got back from Carlisle and a few days in Ocean City,Md and wasn't pleased to find my carpet wasn't delivered yet.
Bright blue is a special order...so they say.
I called last week and the Romeo Engineering rep said he was swamped with orders.
Ahh!The power of the Corvette forum!
I'll call them tomorrow and see what's up.
I've heard their carpets are of great quality and worth the wait.
I'll let you know...hopefully soon!

I orcered my carpet from Romeo's. He got it out when he said he would, but unfortunately UPS lost the carpet in transit, & I then had to wait while UPS did a search for it (never found). Romeo was helpful in getting me another carpet, but I had to wait while he made another one in the color I needed. This was after waiting 3 months for a carpet from Mid America (ACC) which they said they couldn't give me a delivery date because it was on back order, I cancelled & went to Romeo, got a great carpet from him.

How long did yours take to get Mike?
What color?Tan?
I would think black would be a in stock color.
Bright blue like mine is a special order.

i think it took 2-3 weeks for them to make the other carpet. Mine is the buckskin (tan) colored carpet.
Here's a small pic w/ the carpet installed.
Good luck!

Thanks Mike.
I called them this morning.
They're supposed to call beck with a delivery date.
Haven't heard from them yet.
They possibly stock more cut pile colors.
I have the 80/20 loop.

Call them later on again, I didn't have a lot of luck with them returning my calls either. ;)

Please keep us posted Joe. I must say though that Dennis Hand (the guy I bought my ACC carpet from) is totally bending over backwards to get my carpet issue made right. To the point where I was actually feeling guilty bugging him over it... but once he put it that he *wanted* me to return the carpet to him so that he can *SHOVE IT* back in ACC's face and make them make it right... well how could I refuse? I told him I didn't think that was right because I had already installed it and trimmed it etc. But he insisted that didn't matter that he wants it fixed right. So, after I get back from the NCRS Regionals in New Jersey next month I'll take out the carpet and return it. I must say I was impressed with that. He did tell me that ACC went through a period there where they had some quality control issues. I'll probably end up getting a Romeo set anyways for the correct heel pad, and then just selling the ACC stuff on eBay or something once I get it straightened out. :nopity

I guess if I'm going to order from Romeo's I better get it done pretty soon so I have it in a couple months when I need it.
