what year vette is this, C3' dont have running lights
two positions on the switch
parking lamps on - first detent as you pull
parking lamps and head lamps on - all the way out
tweist **** to brighten or dim interior lighting

and am wondering if that is why the tail lights dont work. I really am trying to get this done so i can drive this car at night ( dates etc.) so thanks for the help
