Oil burning issue
New 406 13 mos. ago. Used my 5 year old Dart pro-1 heads on the motor. The engine builder gave me a one year warranty on the engine, not the heads, and told me let him know if all is not well. I told him late last summer I think engine is burning oil. After 5,000 miles and several oil changes, still burns a quart every 400 mi. Could the heads be causing this by themselves. I don't notice blue smoke on start up, or at WOT. Would apprecate knowledgeable opinions on this issue. Also, best way to approch engine builder? Thanks
