Gas Tank
I just got back from the radiator shop that is cleaning my gas tank of my 71 Stingray.. Bad news !!!! HOLES!!!! a bunch of tiny holes in the bottom of the tank.. He is going to put a chemical type liner in it after he solders all the holes.. So will be better than new he says.. Explains the smell of gas in the garage.. SO it was NOT the fuel separator as previously thought.. Filler tube gasket also leaking badly.. Have ordered new sock o ring and gasket.. Happy 4th of July!!!
