Help with braided fuel line install
Ok, I do not have any pics for you but I will explain it as best I can. Now I use russel lines, just my pref.
First off when you are cutting the line, take notice to the tape the factory uses to keep the ends together. Before you start cutting pick up a roll of twine tape from a hardware store. Mark your line to cut and then wrap it tight with a layer or two of the tape. Cut right on or at the tape. This will keep the braided part of the line nice and tight and together. Do not remove the tape.
Next you will take the male fitting that goes into the line, lube it up with a little bit of oil and then screw it in the line. I know, the line has no threads, but if you try to just push it in you will be there all day.
You want to make sure it is all the way in an bottomed out. They are not easy to get in at first but you will find it easier as you go along.
Now all you have to do is screw your line to your part and you are all set.
If I have time to take a few pics of thist today I'll post it for you. No promisses though.
Jim
