When doing a restoration, even a mild one, I always replace body mounts. Makes the car ride so much better.
However, on this 69 Vette I just bought, it occurred to me that with solid body mounts, it may not be necessary to disturb the mounts --unless they need attention. I assume there is no benefit to replacing the mounts unless I want to clean and paint frame.
The solid mounts are made of aluminum. They tend to corrode. I guess if they are not crumbling due to corrosion, you should be able to re-use them, or not disturb them.
