Default 82 Console Gauges

I finally removed my gauge panel without destroying anything. I saw that we have a flexible type of computer board connect to all the gauges by a wiring harness.

The only gauge that does not work is the voltmeter. Water, Oil and Fuel are fine. Would there be anything wrong with wiring directly wiring to the gauge to check it?
