Looking for help. Cannot attach a photo I would like to post of a bent frame rail. 1981 frame. Bent from a front hit. Wheelbase on this side pushed back about 2" from frame chart specs. Can anyone tell me hw to get it posted?

Go to www.photobucket.com and start an account (free) then upload you pic to the site.
Underneath the uploaded pics, you click on the one that says "IMG" then right-click and click on "copy".
then post a thread or reply and in the body of that post, you right click then click "paste"
I don't know if a photo will do us any good. You need a good frame shop to look at it and see if it is salvageable. Frame straightening requires special equipment and is not something you can do in the garage. Ask around check the local Chevy dealer and find out who he sends his jobs to. There are very few dealers who have this type of equipment.
Sometimes a frame is so far out of shape that it cannot be salvaged. Find this out before you start to invest time and money in a lost cause. Bend farmes are the number one reason why cars are totaled. Not so much because of the cost of straightening but because they can never be straightened properly.
