Ignition problems

I gota 69 big block WITH A MSD 6AL box, distributor and coil.it seems that something in that system is frying the coil. I was having trouble starting it so I check it for spark,no spark. Pulled the coil wire off the disributor no spark, A friend of mine comes over with a spare coil swab it in the car fires. Great I think to myself I finish cleaning up put everything away. I try to start it again,wont start pulled the coil wire off crank it over no spark. Anybody got any idea whats going on here?Thanks

How long have you had the MSD? Sure it's wired right? What type of trigger are you using? (points?) Can you temporarily bypass the MSD?

I have the msd box about 10yrs now just added the msd distributor with the tack dive pointless about three yrs ago. was running great for a long while. I quess I will send the box back to msd and have them go though it.
