Default Advice on possible project car

I saw this 68 big block project car on Ebay and I am considering making the guy an offer but would like to get a little advice, can anybody spot anything in these pictures that may be able to give me a little help.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=010

Thanks

Looks like it needs way too much work for a 15G car. Also, it says "car is all there", but quite a few parts are missing and/or different from original, so that would need to be investigated if you're looking for an original car. Additionally, it's listed as a parts car, so you need to check out the title situation.

I disagree. It needs way, WAY too much work for a $15 G car.

What little is visible, the frame looks ok. Engine looks pretty ratty with numerous parts missing. Interior needs to be replaced. You have no way of knowing what, if anything works.

$8 k, maybe? that might even be a little high. My $.02

Looks like a complete nut and bolt restoration required.
Looking at the chassis pictures he just sprayed black paint over the rust and dirt. Being a north eastern car I would be concerned about bird cage etc

Rear clip replaced = bad wreck. He's selling it as a parts car which means it either has a salvage title or no title at all. The chassis is restored with Krylon... I don't see more than $3-$4K sitting there. Not many good parts on it.

looking at it it has front flares and spoiler installed pas side rear fender sticks out a little if it runs and drives its not to bad considering the price of project cars in the norteast[ offer a few thou less] maybe a little high but what is around

Thanks for all the advice, I was told it has a clean title (not salvage).

I was curious about the front fender flares, they don't look original.

I also asked him if it was a numbers matching car or original and he told me that it is all original, but without actually looking at it in person who really knows.
