Default Clutch replacement

On my 1968 , 4 speed , 427 a new clutch was put in, however the fork for the throw out bearing was damaged on one end of fork. It was put back together while engine was out. And now does NOT want to disengage fully. So my queston is , is there any way to change out that fork without pulling engine?? Please help?

Well since no one answered and I'm a very determined rookie, I'd make sure it was the clutch fork. If it was the clutch fork, I'd try to pull it out for about 30 minutes. If that didn't work then I'd pull the tranny. It's times like these that you want a manual on what can be done.

Default Don't Think So

Just did the clutch on my 69. Used a lift at my shop. Not hard, just time consuming

I don't think that you will be able to pull the clutch fork from the bellhousing while it is in the car. If you could, I can't see how you would be able to fit it back to the t/o bearing? I could be wrong

BTW. Clutch fork is still available new from GM along with the boot that goes over it. Just FYI....
