I just purchased a 75 and wanted to replace the map light under the rear view mirror. I can't figure out how to change the bulb with such a small space? Any suggestions? Thanks
I just replaced my light bulb on my 76 this past Sunday. I couldn't get my fingers on the bulb either. I took my mirror off so I could see everything on the inside. First I removed clear lens from mirror. It pulled out from the light switch. Then I removed light switch assemby. Pinch it together at the center of the opening and pull out. The switch handle and the copper retaining mechanism should pull out together. Then remove the light from the retainer. I bought bulbs at Advance Auto, Sylvania 561, 2 pack for $2.48.
