Engine Guys

I have a newly rebuilt engine that I have yet to startup for the first time. It has been about 10 weeks since I finished it. Is there anything wrong with letting it sit this amount of time without firing it up?

Of course not. I'd still follow all the procedures you would have done if you had fired it up 15 minutes after you torqued the last bolt...

My engine sat for longer than that. After the engine was in place I primed the oil, hooked up the ignition, primed the carb, and turned the key.
