Max Flow inserts really sound and flow great.
A few weeks ago I was asking around about what type of muffler/baffle I should use in my sidepipes. I don't believe anyone was able to comment on the Max Flow inserts from Hooker.
Well they sound terrific and for the price I'm not sure you can beat them. Put them in with my recent engine swap, it's a 383 from MAS Performance and the sound blew me away. I have a pretty hefty cam which pulses nicely through them. So I really couldn't be happier. No dyno numbers, but I don't race, again the sound is great
All that's to do is straighten out my coolant issues "another thread" if you got any advice on that please have a look there. Title starts Dewitt Spal..etc
Chris
I've tried 3 or 4 different muffler/baffle combo's in mine and have to say I like the Hooker Max Flows the best by far. But..... without dyno numbers we really don't know what we're talking about.
My SweetThunder inserts set off car alarms, they're a lot quiter that open pipes but still a little on the annoying side (that's what the wife says)

I have a TH350 and 3.55 gears, at 65mph the engine is at roughly 3000rpm.... it's pretty loud
