ok, first some background.
My car is currently a non-stock color (purple). It was painted by one of the previous owners, and I believe it is a "custom" color.
I don't really care for the color and I will be repainting it. However, it may be a while.
In the meantime, I would like to do sometning about some of the small chips and nicks in the paint.
Now bear with me.
I have used testors model paint to refurbish the nose and gas lid emblems, so I know it will hold up fairly well.
What I'm wondering is:
If I mix the testors model paint and get it to match the current paint on the car, could I use it to fill in some of the chips and nicks?
Followed by light sanding/polishing of course.
None of the blemishes are larger than say 1/8" and most of them are much smaller than that.
