Just had to dig through my books.

I see you have the L48. With A/C Curb Idle should be 600-650 RPM.

Thanks. I thought it was a little high. Currently at 800.

assuming you are getting that in park, that's not bad with an automatic

If you quickly tap the gas pedal does the idle drop back down to normal?

Default i wish

thats what i used to do to get the choke to go off after it ran for about 3-5 min. but now it does nothing. im not sure if the choke is sticking, doesnt seem to be, i thought maybe the computer had something to do with it because the choke its self doesnt seem to be on and it is still idleing high, it does rarely drop down to the 600 it used to idle at all the time. I might try running some carb cleaner through it, It rearly fowled the plugs out now...so a plug change is also in line.
