Default Hooker sidepipe headers with angle plug heads

I did a search and couldn't find a positive answer. Hooker says they won't work. Seems like I seen a post here a while back that said it will. Does anyone have this combo on their car and know for sure it does work?

I'll soon find out Kevin cause that's what I'll be running. Seems I read here that a dimple in the headers here & there will make em work.
I'll be watching this thread....

I ran Hooker sidemounts with GM angle plug heads for years with no problems, but I can't say one way or another if you're using aftermarket heads.

I'm running them with trickflow angles. No problems what so ever. Didn't have to dimple them either, they fit fine

I have the AFR 190 heads. They are probably the same configuration as the other manufacturers but I have heard varying responses from they fit fine with no mods to they won't fit at all.

I have fastburn 23 deg heads and hooker side pipes, they mounted beautifully may have to hammer the last cylender on the passenger bank.

I am still I have the chrome Hooker headers and really don't want to beat dents in them with a hammer after spending $1000. Already bought the AFR 190 heads too at $1300. I would probably sell the heads and buy straight plug heads instead of beating dents in my headers but would like to use both and not beat dents in the headers. Anybody have this combination?

If you already have the headers and heads, just bolt them together and see what they look like.
