I have heard of a dipping process to completely strip a frame for restoration purposes. This process strips the frame inside/outside completely. What is this called?
Does any company do this dipping process in southeastern Michigan?
I also heard that after the frame is dipped it can be coated in the same manner. Therefore coating the frame inside/outside completely.
I would like to get this done, but I need to find a company in southeastern Michigan.
Call Steve at Dynamic Corvettes in Saginaw, 1-800-752-3188. Tell him Jon Stark said to call him. He can get it done for you. They have it dipped in tank of acid and then e-coated inside and out. Not a bad way to go it you are doing a frame off. Plus they are excellent people to deal with. They really know their stuff and stock just about anything you can imagine...
Dynamic Corvettes, do they send it out, or is it done in house?
If they send it out, why not cut out the middleman save some money and take it to the actual company myself? Do you know who does this work in Michigan?
