E-code lights, are the european code H4 and H1 bulbs that can replace the sealed beam lights. (They look similiar to sealed beam when off, but they're SO much brighter and more of a blue'ish white light when they're on).
There was a thread or 2 in the last week or so about them, the prices range from $120-$300 depending on how crazy you want to get.
The 1din size aftermarket headunit refers to the stereo headunit being a normal aftermarket headunit (like you see in the stores) as aposed to the 2dial, 1970's headunit that is not supported by the aftermarket (for the most part) anymore.
I'm gonna grab a digital camera and start taking some pics of my vette, I'll take one of that so you can see what I mean (if I didn't explain it well enough).
To be honest, That was one of the only nice things already done to my car before I got it. (The guy who owned it wasn't a complete bubba). I'll have to take a look in there and grab some photos. He did it really well from what I can see, It looks like that was the style of radio that was originally there, if I hadn't seen other corvettes, I wouldn't know that they don't look like that to begin with.
It really gives the interior a Newer feel (I just cannot stand old audio equipment, hehe).

I'd also love to see how the radio was mounted. I as well have a 1 DIN unit in mine, but it doesn't quite blend in as nicely as I'd like. I have a partial photo of the previous 1 DIN radio before it was stolen from my garage at: http://corvette.ficker.net/images/dscn0010.jpg
I'll try to update my site with a photo of the new radio.
I've got Fiero seats in my 73. They have the cloth cover but there is a place that makes several different leather covers for these seats including two-tone. I did use the Fiero tracks with the Corvette mounting pads welded on. Easy to do with a MIG welder. You can see more of the track than normal, so I painted them to match my Med Saddle interior. They also recline. They don't lean forward quite as far as Corvette seats though.

I was wondering about the head room on these seats? I'm 5'11" and already come close to rubbing my head on the tee top covers, maybe I need to sit back and relax in a better seat though.
Getting back to Wadey's original question. I am in the process of putting '79-'82 seats in my '73. So far it looks like you want to use the later model seat tracks for the install. However, you need to swap the rear mounting brackets from the earlier model tracks. Then it should be a direct bolt-in operation.
Was wondering what seat tracks are used when swaping out 76' seats for 78'-82' seats?
Does it matter or can you use either,do bolt holes line up from one to the other?
thanx wade
Used the stock '79 tracks. They bolt right in using the existing mounting holes. Non power seats.
I have C5 seats in my 65. We did test fit them in my 68, but decided to use 80 seats. The C5 seats fit fine after a few modifications, except I did not like the look of the seat backs sitting way above the rear deck without adding curved roll bars. However I think they will look great in a coupe. We removed the angled feets from the front and the pads from the rear of the c5 tracks. We built an adapter plate to replace the original c5 pads. The adapter was welded to the seat tracks and had the proper spacing for the original holes. We also ground off the lower portion of the power motor arm that protrudes below the bottom of the tracks after removing the feet. Here is a picture of the 80 seats so you can see how high they sit above the back deck -- if I remember correctly the c5 seats sat up about another 5 inches. I will follow up with pictures of the c5 brackets next weekend when my 65 returns from the race car shop.
I think the c4 seats work great, I did a swap on my 78 with a set out of a 86 and they fit great, just a slight mod of the seat track. you can see the completion here, http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/634168
