AC Hose Source
Anyone know who sells bulk AC hose? I am thinking about building custom hoses for my 81, I think I can rout them better and make the system look better but can't find hose. Summit has connectors and fitings.

I use Hal's Auto Air, a local (Sacramento) vendor, for my A/C stuff. He was able to make me an EXACT copy (with barrier hose) of the original hoses, including the muffler used on the '69 BB, for $50.- per hose. I'm sure there is a similar vendor in your area...

Check out these two links. I have purchased from both and have been well satisfied with their service. I bought a Mastercool crimper ($165.00) and repair ferrules so I could reuse the steel ends on the AC lines on a tractor I did a R134A conversion on a couple of years ago. It worked very well. The ferrules and crimper were purchased from AC Source. Look for the ferrules under hose repair.

The do pretty well all types including a/c. Can sell you the parts or crimp them etc.

Have personally only used them for hydraulic hose, but I know they have all major brands and types. Prices are usually cheaper than an a/c shop.
