Silly billet main question
How come you cant really find the front and rear main caps for sale?
Is there not a signifigant benefit to buying billet front and rear mains?

You can find 'em for big blocks since on a 4-bolt big block, all 5 caps have 4 bolts. If you put a 4-bolt cap on the front and back of a small block, the oil pan won't go on. Besides that, the center 3 caps have significantly higher crankshaft load - each takes are of 2 cylinders (one on each side of the main) while the front and back have one cylinder only. I'm sure you could have a center cap cut down for the front, but the rear main will probably have to stay stock.
