I bought their 385 hp crate engine last year. Haven't fired it up yet, just finished the resto and waiting to get the car from the painter then I will fire it up. The engine looked good and I took one of the one of the heads and pan off to make sure they built what I bought, everything checked out. I will warn you they are slow as he!! and building and delivering and very poor comunication, but they did give me a $200 refund because of that.

Check these guys out at Tuff Dawg. I bought the 440HP 355 and it is a monster.. Quality is excellent, delivered to your garage, not some shipping dock somewhere..
I am not affiliated, blah blah, just satisfied..Call Daryl and talk to him..

Default fiveStar Engines --- RUN!

Please, whatever you do, stay away from FiveStar Engines out of Phoenix. You can shee their junk on eBay too...

Take my advice, they suck to deal with, you dont want anything to do with them or their motors...

11Jake,
Did you get that thing fired up yet? I am also interested in the quality of those engines.

Still didn't get my car back from paint. I am starting to get irritated with the body shop. But just about all of them are the same.

I'd appreciate it if you let me know when you get it back and fired up. There engines seem like a good deal.
Thanks.

That's looks like a strong engine. Too bad it's not in the budget.
