Default Procharged 383 Dyno Results!

I finally got the engine assembled and tuned. I made 687hp at 6100rpm and 613lb of torque at 5400rpm. The belt started to slip after 12.4 pounds of boost and the hp numbers were still climbing hard. Keep in mind this is on pump gas with no intercooler. Oh and its Carb'd. I can't wait to get a cog belt in there and an intercooler then see what she can do. Im shooting to get 850hp out of this beast. Now I just have to get it in the car with my new Stahl headers..

Here are some other threads that I made. Some people even called me a troll.

Sounds pretty impressive. Can't wait to see the pics. It should be a ball to drive when you get it all together.

Those are great numbers and should be more than enough for the street, unless you're building to race and get as much as you can

Can't wait to see the pics !

Done.

Also a RAM clutch, RAM flywheel, just got my new .25" thick bellhousing/scattershield incase anything decides to come apart as well. I am still looking at getting at least 15-17psi of boost for the street on pump gas. I could always get 23-24psi of boost with race gas.

As a referance, the motor made 405hp/390tq all motor. This is a forged engine running 8.25:1 compression. The engine was a pooch without the blower.

I have pictures of it on the dyno, in my friends Trailblazer SS, and when we were taking it out. There is still lots of room to play and I have realized that I have one killer setup. There was a lot of custom work involved and it should awesome when completed. I haven't skipped a beat this year with anything.

If you are putting out that kind of power you will snap a super T 10 in half the first time you get on it. I broke 2 before I got the TKO 600

I don't buy any of this. Sorry, but who would install there motor in someone else car to dyno it? Trailblazer SS are very expensive and that would void the warranty. Post your pics and dyno, please prove me wrong.

OMG it wasn't put in his car it was built and then put on an engine dyno. lol... No these are not rwhp figures I would like them to be. But like i said pump gas no intercooler and I didnt even have to tune the carb on the dyno it was correct from the getgo. The dyno tuner seemed very impressed with how well it ran.

hi, what would be the expected power and torque increase with the ati p1sc charger? this referred on a internal forged 406ci 570 hp motor...compression on my engine is 10.00 i guess this is too much for a charged motor is it? are ati people helpfull? where should i best buy and request full details and advices on your opinion? thanks/Giu

Oh the head unit is a D1SC I almost wish i would have went bigger but the bigger you go the more hood clearance problems you will have. I got another hood laying around in the garage I might just have to modify it. I will tackle that beast when i get her in there.

ATI people were not helpful to me I felt sometimes I knew more than they did and they did send me a damaged belt that they would not return. It had a gouge on it and there for started slipping. I didn't even get to see the hp peak. There 12 rib belt system is only good for 12lbs nothing more from my experience. If your going more boost than that get the cog system. 10.1 is a lil high but could be done. Better have aluminum heads and an intercooler for sure. Also a race block might be in order like a DART
