Front Monospring Choices
Looking to do this, but there are two choices from VBP. One with the lower control arms ( 42030 ) and a conversion kit without ( 42129 ). The conversion looks like a little less headache to install and also less money. Would I get the same ride and adjustability on the conversion? Has anyone used the conversion kit and if so your comments. Thanks in advance.

I installed the full kit with VBs control arms. I weighed the OE control arm and it's very close in weight to the VB arm.
Dimensions on the standard VB arm are supposed to be the same as OE so performance should be the same.
VB offers another tubular arm with the capacity for more castor than OE.

Thank you sir, I'm starting to lean towards the one without the lower control arms. It would be great to here from someone who actually has the conversion kit with feedback.

I installed then whole kit last season. It is such a nicely built assemble I saw not reason to use the old control arms. Much cleaner install and it is pre asssembled with poly bushings. Makes it really just a bolt on job. Took me about 4 hours to complete.
