Parking brake blues
Went down to the car to install the new parking brake cable,can you believe it ,when I assembled the trailing arm I put the actuating lever upside down,with hook that holds the cable,facing upwards.It took me & a mate quite some time to put the park brake assembly together,plus a lot of swearing & cursing.Now I will have to take them apart & reassemble on the car.
Does anybody have pictures of the lever so I can verify that I have it wrong.
Also would appreciate some tips on how to best put it together.definately not looking forward to this.

The article here on rebuilding parking brakes should help. There's good pictures and a couple of them can be printed full-size to really see the details. Those units can be a little tricky, but hopefully yours will be OK.
