I need info on 75 Vette.
The person selling it for him said it was a 77.
So I spent 3days learning about the 77. Now the real owner tells me it's a 75 Vette
Can some one help me out with info regarding this model? What engines did it
come out with? What rear end did it have? Any help would be appreciated.
Anything spacial about the 75?

Fifth digit indicates a base L-48 engine. 162 h.p.
Nothing unusual to look for. Not much different than a '77.
They look good, but not very fast, but are easy to modify with some inexpensive ad ons.
Just check your normal points on an old car.
Brakes, engine, trans, frame for rust, windshield frame rust. Does it need paint. Paint jobs come expensive.

Everything checks out o.k. new shocks. Black Paint is a few years old. Orig paint was tan. Nice rims and tires.
140,000mi orig engine and tranny. runs excellent.
All gauges work. headliner needs regluing. Dash needs paint. Is it worth $5,000.00?
Or should I go for the 91 IrocZ in mint condition with modified L98 for $4000.00

75 Rubber bladder fuel tank added w/ a metal hat to prevent fire. First HEI. Interior & console like 68-76.
