i purchased a rebuilt carb from corvette america for 71BB and couldn't get it right for the life of me... finally sent it to the guru and found out it was for a 73 truck...go figure
You are correct,He told me that the best carb you can hope for is one that came off of a car,and even though it may have sat for awhile,Is unmodified.

I need so see the fuel inlets and what shape they are
I was told that a truck carb has the triangluar shape inlets and the passenger cars have the round type.
I need to be able to tell the diference

Okay guys, after work tonight I am going to take another look at everything. I have been soo busy at work with little odds and ends that I have't been able to focus on anything.. I am also in the process of giving up my Dealership job, and maybe buying a MATCO TOOL FRANCHISE.. Just so much stuff going on.. I will look into the timing and choke tonight.. Thanks
