There's a lot of stuff you can buy at Lowe's or HomeDepot..... but I wouldn't want all the dead ants in the car. I'd try to get them out, put some sugar outside the car, they'll come out......
put some sugar outside the car, they'll come out......
And then go back in...with the sugar.
If you bait them out of the car with a sweet treat, you must find a way to kill them. Besides...dead ants are not any worse than dustcollecting in hard to reach parts of the car...trust me, they won't affect you're 1/4 mile time...
I'd open the doors of the car and bomb the garage. Once the buggers are all dead and the fumes dissapate, roll the car outside and let it air out...and vacuum up the dead bugs. Then get some ant repellant powder and sprinkle it all around your house/garage.
I knew a guy that drove a '78 Vette with a mouse living in his HVAC collector, right behind the center console. Lived there for it's entire life. The guy said, "Aww he's not hurting nobody."
Follow them back to their home...nuke em right there..
When I get gophers...I kill them with 69 502 by hooking up my shop vac hose to the exhaust and stick it down their hole...takes about 5 minutes..
No mercy !!

Hey I'm not THAT young...I even remember VHS tapes. I know, but it's true. Trust me. I used to have the player too that let you watch them.
I'll one up that. I had a BETA MAX! Beta was awesome, you could record like 20 hours on those lil buggers! Of course mine bit the dust by getting jammed an irreparable
I'll see your Beta Max (still downstairs) and raise you both an 8 track and 4 track tape player. Seriously, red pepper spread around where ants seem to frequest also does a good job of getting rid of them. Coffee grounds work too but I think that might be a bit difficult to remove later. The older you are the more old fashoned remedies you remember.
